The 16th World Philosophical Forum successfully concluded in Athens

The 16th Annual World Philosophical Forum (WPF) was successfully held on October 9–10, 2025, at the Historical Archive of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (45 Skoufa Street).

This year’s symposium focused on the theme:

“Appeal to Humanity to convert current Global Chaos to Global Peace and Prosperity through overall proper common Civil-Philosophical Education of Earth inhabitants.”

The event brought together philosophers, thinkers, academics, and representatives of cultural organizations from Greece and abroad. Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in profound dialogue on issues of global peace, philosophical education, moral responsibility, and the formation of active planetary citizens capable of contributing to a fairer and more balanced future.

On October 10, attendees also visited the International Art Exhibition “Platforms Project”, featuring the artistic groups EDEN (Lost Coordinates) and FACES, hosted at Kapnergostasio (Lenorman 218, Athens). On October 11, a cultural visit took place to Delphi, a site of deep philosophical and historical significance.

The symposium was held under the auspices of the World Philosophical Forum, with the support of the European and North American Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO, the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & Islands, and the organization InterAction Art.

The event, which was free to the public, concluded in an atmosphere of collaboration and inspiration, highlighting the urgent need for a shared philosophical discourse and education that promotes peace, solidarity, and humanistic awareness on a global scale.
